He is currently in a foster home in Memphis and is ready now to travel to his new home. Hello, my name is Sydney, and my ancestors hail from Australia. I am a medium size Australian shepherd herding dog, known to some folks as a red tick heeler because I have red speckles or freckles on my legs and feet. I weigh in at 30 lbs. and am fully grown now at 11 months of age. While I am an active, healthy fellow, I am not hyper. I love to play with other dogs, and love everyone! I love to play with doggie toys, run and play outside , but I also do very well on a leash and would not need a fenced back yard if I am walked on a leash regularly.
I am crate trained and housebroken. I am very affectionate, I come when called and like to snuggle with my humans. I know some basic commands, such as SIT and COME. I was rescued from a very high kill shelter in Memphis, TN, and I really do deserve to have a loving, committed home. Won't you please consider adding me to your family where I will be ever so loving and grateful to you.
Sydney is already neutered, current on his vaccinations and is micro-chipped. His adoption donation is $350 and is tax deductible (we are a non profit organization and rescue cats and dogs from high kill shelters in TN and MS).
